New Public Hours at the U.S. Embassy for American Citizen Services!

Beginning 14 September 2018, the U.S. Embassy in Paramaribo will offer routine appointments for American citizens, including passport renewals, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, and notary public services, exclusively on Fridays from 08:00 to 11:00 a.m.  To make an appointment, please visit: https://sr.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/.

U.S. Citizens Needing Emergency Services:

If you are a U.S. citizen and require an emergency passport or an emergency notary, we will continue to accommodate requests outside these hours on a case-by-case basis. To request an emergency appointment, please e-mail us at caparamar@state.gov.

Social Security Checks:

The process to pick up Social Security checks remains the same.  American citizens or their delegated representative may continue to walk in to pick up their check on any Wednesday or Friday from 08:00 to 11:00 a.m.

 

Visa Appointments:
