The Government of France has confirmed cases of COVID-19 in French Guiana. U.S. citizens who are considering returning to the United States are urged to make travel arrangements while flights are still available. Bookings and schedules are available directly from airlines. The U.S. Embassy is aware of limited Air Franceflights from Cayenne to Paris that may allow connection to the United States.

All U.S. citizens in French Guiana must follow the Government of France confinement order in place since March 17, 2020.

Actions to Take:

Dial 15 for emergency services in French Guiana if you have severe COVID-19 symptoms such as difficulty breathing. Do not go directly to an emergency department, doctor’s office, or clinic.

Dial 0 800 130 000 in French Guiana for non-medical information regarding COVID-19.
